Hashan Renuka

  He was born on December 5, 1927 in Moratuwa. His musical career began at an early age. Amaradewa was educated at sri saddharmodaya mixed school. He received his secondary education from sri samangala vidyalaya, panadura. After that he entered Kaluthara vidyalaya and Balapitiya siddhartha vidyalaya.              He is best known as a respected artist who nurtured the field of sinhala music in North Indian Ragadhari music. He combines classical instruments such as sitar, tabla and harmonium with sinhala folk music and bharatha folk music. He is known as the Great Gandharwa of the Hela. He got the name " Amaradewa" from prof Ediriweera Sarachcharandra.                 Accordingly, Ranmuthu duwa, Adata wediya heta hondai, sikuru tharuwa, gamperaliya, gatawarayo etc can be shown as films in which he has contributed under the music direction.   Sigiriya is located in the vicinity of Kimbissa village in the Matale district of the central province of Sri Lanka. Sigiriya, about 200 meters high is a natural creation. This sigiriya is also known as Alakamandawa, Sinhapura, Giri balakotuwa, Sinha balakotuwa, Sinhagiriya, sinha balapura and sinha parvathaya. Sigiriya means Lion Rock. The original entrance to the fort was in the shape of a lion. Sigiriya is also mentioned in folklore as a fort built by king kashyapa.                  Sigiriya has also been declared a world heritage site and is an archeological site belonging to the cultural triangle. Sigiriya is divided into several parts. Namely sigiriya rock and the palace on it, water parks, gardens and moats can be shown.               Accordingly, some of the most attractive places in sigiriya. Namely mirror wall, paintings, lion lift, royal palace, fort wall, Buddhist monastery, stone arch etc...

 The tower hall theater hosted a drama competition between schools in sri Lanka. That was in 2018. A drama troupe from our school also participated in it and we were able to win the first provincial competition. Accordingly, we were able to represent the all Island school drama competition.            There were about twenty five people in our group playing and performing. We performed the play sirisangabo. I joined the cast to play the role of a prince there. We had final at the tower hall theatre. About nine teams were selected for the final. However, we all performed very well. Although we could not win, we were able to win the award for the best background design and the award for the best costume design. However, it was a valuable experience for all of us to be able to perform a play on such a stage.

 My favourite sport is volleyball. Volleyball is a competition between two teams of six players, one on each side of a net. These marks should be obtained according to an accepted set of rules. Normally points are scored by the opponent throwing the ball to the field. This is a weakening of the opposition. Volleyball is also the national sport of sri lanka. It has been named since 1991.  The highest governing body here is FIVB. It was first played on February 9 1895 at Holyoke USA. This was in the early days of William G Morgan called it Mintonet. William G Morgan  is considered the founder of the sport of volleyball.  My favourite musician is kasun kalhara. Kasun kalhara jayawardhana was born on 03.11.1981. He is a sri lankan singer and musician. His parents are Malani Bulathsinhala and H.M Jayawardhana. He was a student of premasiri khemadasa and a member of khemadasa's opera orchestra. Kasun kalhara's artistic career began in 2000 with Indra Chapa Liyanage. Accordingly, kasun kalhara successfully performed several musical performances such as " kasun kalhara live in concert, kasun kalhara unforgettable live in concert, The Black Red White concert, The Romantic Opera."  In addition, he has produced three albums during his career, Green valley, Radical Love, Romantic Opra.             As songs he sang with other singers.  One of my favourite musical instruments is the tabla. The tabla is the main percussion instrument of north Indian ragadhari music. This was created by a musician named Amir kushru. It is based on the musical instrument pakhvaj. The tabla consists of two parts. That is as Baya and Daya. The Baya part is made of metal and the Daya part is made of wood. These two parts are different from each other. The surface of both parts is made of animal skins. There are also six major tabla schools in India. These are Lucknow Gharana, Banaras Gharana, Ajarada Gharana, Delhi Gharana, Farrukhabad Gharana, Punjab Gharana.                There are also several key elements of a tabla player. They can be  shown as Teka, Kayada, Palta, Gat, Mukhada, Paran, Thihai, Chakradar, Lehera.

 In 2017 we held an art festival at the school. The art festival was named as sandagath pinidiya. We had been preparing for it for about a month. At that time we were studying in grade 12. Work was assigned to all grades of the school. Teachers also participated. Our grade was given to build a village. We worked there during the day as well as at night. It was a new experience for us and a very fun time.                On the day of the art festival, each grade presented their creations. Students from other schools as well as other people were given the opportunity to watch it.            In addition, various competitions were held among the students of our school. There I won the first place in the senior simple singing category and the third place in the senior folk singing category. In addition, the aesthetic department of the school had organized various programs.             ...

 One of my favourite books is sherlock Holmes. I also have a large collection of books in the sherlock Holmes series. Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character created by sir Arthur conan Doyle, a physician and writer educated at Edinburgh medical college. He is a London based advisory detective who specializes in solving difficult problems using his intelligence and logic. Holmes first appears in a 1887 publication, then unfolds in four novels and fifty six short stories. The first novel A study in lohitha colour was published in beaton's Christmas anniversary magazine. Also, the character's popularity grew exponentially with the first series of short stories in strand magazine, beginning with the Bohemian crisis in 1891.  I live in Balangoda. Balangoda is a town in the Rathnapura District in the Sabaragamuwa province. This city is one of the largest cities in the province. According to the 2001 census of sri lanka, the population is 16,875. It also covers an area of 16.2 square kilometers. Balangoda Ananda maitreya there, the world's first prime minister Sirimawo Bandaranaike and sri Lanka's first speaker Francis Molamure were born in this prehistoric city. This city is located in the central region of the sabaragamuwa range and belongs to the wet and dry zone. The livelihood of the people here is farming. Tea is also grow commercially. It is also a city famous for its gem industry.                The tourism industry established in Balangoda town can also be seen. Popular places are samanala wewa, Belihuloya and Kaltota. It is also a very beautiful city.

 I have loved cricket since I was a child. I also like to watch cricket matches. There are a few players I like in the game of cricket but the player I like the most is virat kohli.  He is an indian. He was born on November 5 1988 in Delhi. His mother is saroj kohli and his father is preme kohli. Kohli was educated at the  vishal Bharathi Government school in Delhi. His hobbies include working and singing. He also likes to play tennis. He is also a member of the Royal challengers Bangalore, part of the Indian premier league. Also the fastest century by an Indian in an ODI. The fastest in the world, virat kohli is also the fastest player to reach 25 centuries in an ODI. He has also won many awords including the ICC player of the year Award (2012), The Arjuna Award (2013) and the padma shri.                    Virat kohli can still be desctibed as one of the most talented players on the cricket field today.

 From a young age I had a lot of hobbies. One of them is watching cartoons. One of my hobbies today is watching cartoons. My favourite cartoon is scooby doo. It is a very beautiful cartoon. This is a cartoon created in America. This cartoon was authors by Joe Ruby and Kane spears. This was produced by Hannah and Barbara. It was produced in  13th September 1969. Scooby doo cartoon was  broadcasted in 1970. There are five main characters in this scooby doo cartoon. Thay are Freddie Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, Shaggy Rogers and scooby doo.                Also featured in this cartoon are scooby doo (2002), scooby doo 2 monsters unleashed (2004), scooby doo! The mistry biggins (2009), scooby doo! Curse of the lake monster (2010) can be shown.   I have loved watching movies since I was a child I have a good collection of movies right now. There are a lot of movies that I like. But the movie that I like the  most is harry Potter.              The harry potter story is a book written by j.k Rowlin an english woman.that was twenty years ago. It was created specifically for children and describes the world of magic. It is said that these harry potter books produced eight films. It has received very successful responses. it is the second highest grossing film of all time at $ 7.7. Briefly describe these films in this story.  That day is October 12 2020. Two other friends joined me at the book fair. We have been attending this book fair for many years. We left around 5 a.m that day and were able to get to BMICH around 9 a.m.                 The corona epidemic was still raging at that time and due to that health measure had to be taken. As usual a lot of people came and we stayed there from morning till evening. Also we were able to get a lot of books that we went to buy. One of the important events that happened to us was that the author of a book we took had his signature and gave it to us.                    Then we left BMICH around 5 p.m with the books we needed. We then went to the galle face. We talked there until about nine at night. Then we got on a bus that arrived around 11 p.m and came home. It was an unforgettable day for us.

 A regional youth volleyball tournament was held on April 3 2021. Our team also came forward. About fifteen teams participated in the tournament and our team had to play three games. Our team was well trained. So we had a lot of confidence that we could win this tournament. As we expected we won all three matches and reached the final. We were very happy that day. We received a lot of support from our village and other teams to reach the final. Also the unity of our  team was a reason to reach the final.        But the final match was not played the day and we were given seven days to do so. But due to the Corona spring the match was postponed indefinitely. However we are all hoping to win the final as well.

 This day is August 07 2020. Thirteen people joined our journey that day. We started our journey at about four in the morning. We first went to see the ella. Very nice place there. From there we walked to the nine arche it was a different experience for us.                     There were a lot of people there then. Most of the are foreigners.we were there for about two hours. We took a lot of photos there. Then we ended the day's journey from there because of the crew was a little tired. That day we stayed at a nearby hotel and left the next morning to visit the addition bungalow. Then we went to siripadaya. There we traveled by train from Haputale to Hatton.
