My Favourite Instrument
One of my favourite musical instruments is the tabla. The tabla is the main percussion instrument of north Indian ragadhari music. This was created by a musician named Amir kushru. It is based on the musical instrument pakhvaj.
The tabla consists of two parts. That is as Baya and Daya. The Baya part is made of metal and the Daya part is made of wood. These two parts are different from each other. The surface of both parts is made of animal skins. There are also six major tabla schools in India. These are Lucknow Gharana, Banaras Gharana, Ajarada Gharana, Delhi Gharana, Farrukhabad Gharana, Punjab Gharana. There are also several key elements of a tabla player. They can be shown as Teka, Kayada, Palta, Gat, Mukhada, Paran, Thihai, Chakradar, Lehera.
